This article seeks to explore that the rise of atheism had a profound effect in Muslim societies. It is no exaggeration to say that they shook the roots of the ancient heritage and created a great challenge to Christianity and Islam. We feel the effects of atheism in every aspect of ideology, philosophy, politics, economy, society and ethics Atheism generally refers to the denial of God, and atheism is a scholarly debate and movement based on its intellectual structures and details. In today's world, atheism has become entrenched in the modern individual and atheism has taken the form of a major movement that has an aggressive strategy against religious beliefs and non-religious attitudes. Atheism is no longer a scientific or rational issue, but has become a social and cultural situation, which has at times taken the form of a movement. In the past people used to deny God only philosophically but now people have started denying God based on scientific theories. From time immemorial, some people have believed in some form of atheism, but at this time, the denial of the existence of God has been greatly diminished. Similarly, only a few philosophers have passed away who denied separation. However, those who deny the Hereafter have been present in large numbers in every age. Atheism gained more prominence when the dominant nations of the world adopted it as their way of life and its effects are being felt all over the world. This study will discuss the history of atheism. In addition, the views of four personalities promoting new atheism will be presented. Analytical methods will be used in the research. In this article, we will try to examine the causes that led to the rise of atheism. How the atheist movement is growing in the world and what are the effects on the societies of the countries that accept it.
