Abstract

This paper presents an analytical study of the Islamic ethics of interfaith dialogue in the light of Quranic teachings. In the contemporary world nations face multiple intellectual, political, economic, social and religious challenge. Additionally, various racial, linguistic, religious, political and social biases have jeopardized peaceful coexistence. As humanity revisits solutions for global issues and strives for peace, prosperity and development, one crucial aspect that demands renewed emphasis is the culture of interfaith dialogue. The primary goal of such dialogue is the promote reconciliation and tolerance among followers of different religions. Islam emerged in an era when the arabian peninsula was home to people of diverse religious backgrounds. The Holy Quran guided Muslims on how to coexist peacefully with followers of other faiths. Fostering an environment of mutual respect and harmony. Interfaith dialogues and treaties were conducted, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere through wise strategies, thus supporting oppressed communities. In today's era of globalization, the importance of interfaith dialogue has signification increased compared to the past. It serves as the only effective means to encourage opponents to reflect deeply and seriously on matters based on the refinement of speech, respect for humanity and the guiding principles of Islamic ethics. Since morality in Islamic is considered an act of worship. The Holy Quran extensively outlines the etiquette and principles of engaging with non-Muslims, including interfaith respect, human dignity, and equality. If dialogue adheres to the ethical principles outlined in the Holy Quran, it can effectively resolve individual, national and global issues as well as numerous challenges faced by the Muslim community.
