Abstract

In the modern world, anxiety and stress have become widespread issues, affecting individuals regardless of their social or economic status. Both conditions are often caused by external triggers, such as personal, financial, and professional challenges. While the causes and symptoms of anxiety and stress are diverse, their negative impact on physical and mental health is undeniable. This article explores the definitions, types, and causes of anxiety and stress, followed by an examination of the differences between the two. It then introduces Islamic solutions, which offer spiritual and practical approaches to alleviate these conditions. Central to the Islamic approach is the remembrance of Allah (Zikr), prayer, trust in God's will, patience, gratitude, positive thinking, and fostering better relationships. Islam emphasizes a balanced lifestyle that nurtures both physical and mental health. The article provides a holistic framework combining spiritual healing with practical techniques to effectively manage anxiety and stress, offering believers a path to inner peace and stability in the face of life's challenges.
