Abstract

Islam presents a complete code of life that encompasses all aspects of human existence, particularly providing comprehensive guidance on moral values and leadership principles.In Islam, while acts of worship, transactions, good social conduct, and kindness hold fundamental importance, the ethical values granted by Islam are equally significant. It would not be an exaggeration to say that Islam and high moral values are inseparable. Allah Almighty states in Surah Al-Qalam:"And indeed, you (O Prophet) are of a great moral character."The Prophet (PBUH) himself said:"I have been sent to perfect noble character."His message, his Shariah, and his religion are all bearers of good ethics and high moral values. The Quran and Sunnah not only command believers to refrain from major sins but also emphasize adherence to excellent moral conduct.High moral values are essential for everyone, but for a leader, possessing strong leadership qualities along with superior ethics is of utmost importance. Just as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was a great leader, he was also adorned with exemplary morals. The fundamental purpose of leadership is to provide proper guidance to people and address their concerns.This paper will discuss these principles in detail, focusing on the high moral values and leadership principles found in the Quran and Sunnah. Adopting an analytical approach, the paper will conclude with key findings and recommendations.
