Abstract

The methodology of the Prophet Muhammadﷺin decision-making reflects a balance between visionary foresight and phased planning. His approach combined a clear understanding of long-term objectives with a meticulous consideration of immediate steps and their consequences. This balance ensured that decisions were neither arbitrary nor impulsive but were deeply rooted in strategic thinking, consultation, and a thorough analysis of circumstances. The Prophetﷺprioritized consultation (shura) with companions to explore different possibilities and sought divine guidance to ensure that decisions aligned with the ultimate goals of justice, mercy, and the welfare of the community. His method provides a timeless model for decision-making that integrates spiritual insight with practical strategies, addressing both the complexities of immediate challenges and the aspirations for a better future.
